Sunday marks the start of a FIFA camp to train 40 referees and assistant referees in women's football.

The FIFA referees' camp will kick off next Sunday, November 1, with the participation of 40 female referees and assistant referees. The camp will run until November 5, aiming to enhance their training and improve their technical and physical skills amid ongoing competitions in the women's football league.

The camp will be led by Essam Abdel Fattah, a FIFA instructor, and Marwa Hanachi, a fitness coach from FIFA, through a training program that includes a mix of technical lectures, theoretical sessions, and practical applications on the field.

Fitness Tests for Referees

The camp program includes fitness tests for referees, as well as tests on the laws of football, to assess their technical and physical levels and enhance their refereeing capabilities in line with the requirements for officiating women's football league matches.

The camp is part of efforts to improve the training level of referees and develop their performance by focusing on legal, technical, and physical aspects, which will help them handle various officiating situations and make appropriate decisions during matches.
