3×3 Basketball Team Secures First Victory at U23 World Cup
The national U23 3×3 basketball team kicked off its World Cup campaign today, Tuesday, in Wuhan, China, with one loss and one win in the group stage.
The "Greens" began their tournament with a defeat against France, losing 20-14, before securing a thrilling victory in their second match against Kenya, winning 19-18.
The national 3×3 basketball team is in Group C alongside France, Poland, Kenya, and Australia.
The "Greens" will look to revive their hopes in the competition early Thursday, Algeria time, facing Poland before concluding the group stage later that day against Australia.
The World Cup features 20 teams divided into 4 groups, each containing 5 teams. The top two teams from each group will advance to the quarter-finals.
The 3×3 U21 World Cup began today, Tuesday, in Wuhan, China, and will continue until Saturday, September 19.
