The Algerian national under-17 team began a training camp last Friday at the regional technical center in Tlemcen, in preparation for the World Cup finals for this age group, scheduled for next November in Qatar.

National coach Amine Ghimouz has called up 23 players to join this camp, which aims to assess the players' readiness before finalizing the squad for the global tournament.

The young players participated in two training sessions on Saturday, with 16 players involved, while waiting for the players based abroad to join on Monday.

The training camp will continue until November 1, with three friendly matches scheduled, the first of which will be on Monday against the U20 team of Chabab Tlemcen, to evaluate the players' readiness ahead of the global event.

The Algerian team will compete in the under-17 World Cup in Group J, alongside the United States, Chile, and Montenegro, aiming for a respectable participation and to advance to the later stages of the tournament.
