Dr. Mostafa El-Moniry, head of the medical staff at Pyramids FC, revealed the reasons behind Mahmoud Zlaka's departure during the match against ENPPI in the league.
Zlaka left the pitch due to injury approximately 13 minutes into the first half, with Ahmed Atef Qatta taking his place in the match held at Al Salam Stadium as part of the fifth round of the league.
Mostafa El-Moniry indicated that Zlaka felt pain from a strain in his hamstring, and the coaching staff decided to substitute him. He will undergo an MRI after 48 hours to determine the severity of the injury.
