Disciplinary Committee Suspends Bouzouk

The Disciplinary Committee of the Professional Football League announced its decisions regarding the matches of the second round of the 2026-2027 season on Monday evening.

This round saw the absence of the matches for Algeria's representatives in the CAF Champions League, CR Belouizdad and JS Saoura, against Kabylie and Khencela, which took place on September 10, 11, and 12.

The disciplinary body decided to provisionally suspend CR Belouizdad player Yassir Bouzouk until he can provide his statement, following his red card in the match against ES Sétif.

It also issued a warning to CR Belouizdad along with a fine of 200,000 Algerian Dinars due to their fans using fireworks during the match held at the 5 July 1962 Stadium.

In another matter, the Disciplinary Committee suspended the assistant coach of WA Tlemcen, Sebah Ben Yaakoub, for one match after he was sent off in the match against AS Ain Temouchent for protesting the referee's decisions.

Additionally, AS Ain Temouchent player Mahmoud Mohamed Osman Seif El-Din was suspended for one match after receiving two yellow cards in the same match.
