The Egyptian beach soccer team faces Alexandria in a friendly match as part of its preparations for the Africa Championship qualifiers.
The Egypt beach soccer team will kick off its first friendly match today, Saturday, facing the Alexandria team as part of its closed training camp currently taking place in the coastal governorate. The camp runs from Thursday, September 17, to Tuesday, September 22.
This match is part of the preparation program that includes training sessions in the morning and evening, followed by another friendly match against the El Sharkia team tomorrow, Sunday, September 20, aimed at enhancing the players' technical and physical readiness.
Ahmed Abdel Razek, the head coach of the Egypt beach soccer team, announced the squad for the Alexandria camp, which starts on Thursday, September 17, and continues until September 22, as part of the preparations for the qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations, which will be held in Senegal and qualify for the 2027 World Cup in Brazil.

For his part, Ahmed Abdel Razek expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Football Association, headed by Engineer Hani Abou Rida, and Shawky Gharib, the technical director of the association, for their continuous support and assistance to the beach soccer team ahead of the qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations in Senegal, which will qualify for the upcoming World Cup in 2027 in Brazil.
Abdel Razek added that the Egypt beach soccer team consists of a mix of experience and youth, with a unique composition of players who aspire to compete in continental and global tournaments in the near future.
