The Egyptian Super Cup is expected to be postponed to January.

Attention is turning towards the postponement of the Egyptian Super Cup, originally scheduled for next month, which will now take place in January 2027.

This decision comes as part of ongoing coordination to find the most suitable timing for the competition, aligning with the local and continental commitments of the participating clubs and the current season's schedule.

Participating Teams in the Tournament

The anticipated edition of the tournament will see fierce competition among the top Egyptian clubs, with Zamalek, the league champions, and Pyramids, the holders of the Egypt Cup, participating, along with Al-Masry, who secured their spot as the champions of the Cairo Cup.

Also included in this list is Al Ahly, which is currently participating via an invitation or what is known as a golden card, as the four teams aim to seize the prestigious title at its new date.
