The sixth round of the Professional League, held today on Sunday, saw mixed results, highlighted by a significant victory for JS Kabylie over US Biskra with a score of 4-1, and a narrow win for Mustaqbal El-Mohammedia against JS Saoura. Additionally, there was a positive draw between Chabab Ain Temouchent and Olympique de Chlef.

JS Kabylie achieved a commanding victory over US Biskra, bringing their points total to 10 and placing them fourth in the standings, despite having a postponed match against CR Belouizdad.

This win came after a varied start to the season for the team, which began with a victory over Mustaqbal El-Mohammedia, followed by a loss to Chabab Ain Temouchent, then a win against Olympique de Chlef and a draw with ES Sétif.

On the other hand, US Biskra continues to struggle at the bottom of the table, sitting in sixteenth place with only 2 points, which they earned from draws against JS Saoura and NA Hussein Dey, alongside four losses to CR Belouizdad, CS Constantine, and MC Oran, in addition to today's defeat against JS Kabylie.

In another match, Mustaqbal El-Mohammedia secured a valuable win against JS Saoura with a score of 1-0, bringing their points to 12 and temporarily moving them up to third place. This victory followed an unstable start, which included a loss to JS Kabylie, a win against Olympique Akbou, and a loss to CR Belouizdad, before achieving two consecutive wins against USM Alger and Chabab Ain Temouchent.

JS Saoura continued to drop points, remaining at 2 points in fifteenth place after drawing with US Biskra and Olympique Akbou, along with losses to USM El Harrach and USM Alger, and today against Mustaqbal El-Mohammedia, while they have a postponed match against Union de Khenchela.

The match between Chabab Ain Temouchent and Olympique de Chlef ended in a 1-1 draw, keeping both teams in the lower positions of the standings.

Olympique de Chlef occupies fourteenth place with 3 points, having drawn in the first round against CR Belouizdad, then suffered three losses to CS Constantine, MC Oran, and JS Kabylie, before earning a new point against Chabab Ain Temouchent.

Chabab Ain Temouchent managed to secure a point from this match, as the team seeks to improve its position and distance itself from the danger zone.

These results highlight the intensifying battle at the bottom of the table, while competition for the top spots continues, awaiting the completion of postponed matches that may alter the standings in the coming rounds.

It is worth noting that the matches involving CR Belouizdad and Olympique Akbou, as well as NA Hussein Dey against USM Alger, were postponed due to the Algerian representatives' involvement in the second qualifying round for the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.

The match between CR Belouizdad and ES Sétif was also postponed, as CR Belouizdad played their first leg in the second qualifying round for the CAF Champions League today, suffering a defeat against Enugu Rangers with a score of 2-0, with the return match scheduled for October 23 at Ali Aamar Stadium.
