Referees Committee Completes Report on the Cairo Derby
The Referees Committee of the Egyptian Football Association has completed its response to Zamalek's complaint against the officiating team of the recent Cairo Derby match against Al Ahly in the Egyptian Premier League.
The committee's response included that it brought in the Slovenian team for the match after several European federations declined to send referees, in addition to the commitment of elite referees in Europe to officiate important matches in European club competitions.
Regarding Zamalek's request for two penalty kicks in the match, the response stated that the assessment of these situations is based on the referee's view and evaluation during the match, and there are various criteria according to the referee's judgments and convictions.
