Tottenham Revives Interest in Gouiri at De Zerbi's Request

The name of Algerian international, Amine Gouiri, has resurfaced strongly at Tottenham Hotspur, following reports from Turkish journalist İkram Konur about the possibility of the London club renewing its interest in signing the Olympique Marseille striker, in response to coach Roberto De Zerbi's desire to strengthen the team's attacking options.

According to the same source, Tottenham had previously explored the opportunity to sign Gouiri during the last summer transfer window, but the deal did not progress due to the retention of strikers Richarlison and Dominic Solanke within the squad.

With uncertainty surrounding Richarlison's future and Tottenham's management preparing to consider his potential departure during the upcoming winter transfer window, the club may renew its interest in the Algerian forward, whom De Zerbi sees as an additional option to bolster the front line.

However, İkram Konur indicated that Tottenham's management will first focus on resolving its current situation in attack before taking any formal steps regarding a deal for Gouiri.

Thus, the name of the national team striker remains on the table as an option for the English club, awaiting the developments from Tottenham during the next winter transfer window.
