The 37th edition of the International Tour of Faso will kick off on Friday, October 30, 2026, with a peloton of 84 riders announced. Running until November 8, this event will bring together Burkinabé teams as well as several foreign formations around one of the major moments in African cycling.

Burkina Faso will be represented by three teams: the national team, the Western regional team, and the Central regional team. Among the registered riders is Paul Daumont, the champion of the 2025 edition, who will be joined by Saturnin Yaméogo and Wahabou Bouda in the Burkinabé selection.

Many nations and international teams will also participate in the competition, including Morocco, Mali, Benin, Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Niger, and Algeria. Teams such as Universe Cycling Team, Tshenolo Pro Cycling Team, Flanders, and May Star Continental Team complete the list of participants.

This competition will represent a new opportunity for Burkinabé cyclists to defend their colors against international competition. With Paul Daumont's presence, attention will be particularly focused on Burkina Faso's ability to retain the yellow jersey acquired in the previous edition.
