Souleymane Commissaire Faye could soon join the ranks of Chelsea Blues. The young Senegalese midfielder is in England for trials, according to local media.

At just 16 years old, his potential already surpasses the borders of his country. After catching attention during the African U15 School Championship, Souleymane Commissaire Faye shone again at the 2025 UFOA A U17 tournament, finishing both competitions as the best player and top scorer.

In 2026, he was part of the victorious Senegal team at the U17 Africa Cup of Nations, before losing to Gambia last Sunday in the final of the UFOA A U17 tournament.

A new adventure could therefore be opening up for "the" Commissaire. Currently at the Be Sports Academy in Senegal, Souleymane Faye must now impress Chelsea officials during the trials awaiting him there.
