After just 23 minutes of play at Raiffeisen Arena, Liverpool takes the lead in the second matchday of the UEFA Champions League. The Reds are ahead 2-0 thanks to Araujo and Barcola.

Expectations were in favor of Liverpool in this match, and they are living up to their favorites' role. Their presence in the opponent's half has been significantly more pronounced than in their own. Bradley Barcola, Koumas, and Wirtz have caused serious concerns for the Austrian defense. Corners have piled up, and on each occasion, the day's captain, Kostas Tsimikas, was at the helm.

It was during one of these corners in the 23rd minute that Ronald Araujo opened the scoring with a decisive header. The LASK players had no time to react to this goal before another setback hit them. From the restart, the Reds regained possession and initiated a new attack. Lewis Koumas passed to Bradley Barcola, who curled his right-footed shot into the opposite top left corner.

Liverpool is off and seems well on its way to a comfortable afternoon.
