On Wednesday, in the third round of the UEFA Champions League, Sporting CP faced LASK. At halftime, the two teams were tied 1-1, after a first half that saw two goals scored within the first fifteen minutes.
Sporting CP took the lead early with a goal from Luis Suárez in the 5th minute. However, LASK responded shortly after, equalizing through Christoph Lang in the 15th minute.
Despite these two early goals, neither team managed to gain the upper hand before the halftime whistle. Everything remains to be decided in the second half.
