UEFA CL: Bensebaini vs Zedadka, the clash between the two Algerians ends in favor of the former (video)

Yesterday, a Champions League match featured two international Algerian defenders.
Akim Zedadka started as usual at right back with the Azerbaijani team Sabah, while the captain of the Algerian national team, Ramy Bensebaini, was in the lineup with Borussia Dortmund as a left center-back.
Dortmund quickly took the lead in Baku, thanks to a goal from Guirassy following a rebound from the goalkeeper. In conceding the goal, Zedadka did not react quickly enough, allowing the Guinean to score (10th).
The hosts then intensified their pressure and after an initial goal was disallowed for offside, they equalized in the 39th minute with a shot from McCarthy. Notably, Zedadka showed a lot of activity on his right flank.
In the second half, Guirassy managed to score a second goal in the 53rd minute. For his part, Bensebaini had a decent match but nothing more, marking only his fourth start of the season with Borussia, before being substituted in the 72nd.
The Germans thus win the match 2-1 away, while the Azerbaijanis suffer their first defeat in the Champions League after winning their first away match.
