Algerian midfielder Adil Benrabaa experienced a remarkable rise in 2026, moving from the fifth division to the Algeria national team in just one year.

At the age of 21, he was playing in the reserve team of Troyes in the fifth division during the summer of 2025 and had limited playing time, which led him to join an amateur club, AS Beauvais in the fourth division.

It was at ASBO that he caught the eye during the first half of the 2025/2026 season, frequently playing as a right-back. Thus, Le Mans, who had just been promoted to Ligue 2, signed him during the winter transfer window for a fee of 15,000 euros.

To everyone's surprise, he immediately established himself, participating in the remaining 13 matches that enabled Le Mans to achieve a second consecutive promotion back to Ligue 1.

Upon signing his first professional contract, his value was estimated at 300,000 euros, reaching 500,000 euros by the end of the season, but as he made his mark at the highest level in France, his market value skyrocketed!

With three goals and two assists in five matches in Ligue 1, as well as a call-up by Brahim Hemdani to the Algeria national team to replace Nabil Bentaleb after being called up to the U21s by Rafik Saifi, everything changed!

Indeed, as of yesterday, on Transfermarkt, Ali Bourabaa's market value is now 3.5 million euros! This represents a sevenfold increase since the last evaluation and even twelve times in less than a year.

If Le Mans sold him for 3.5 million euros after acquiring him for 15,000 euros, the French club would make an incredible profit by multiplying their earnings by 233!
