Wadi Degla has agreed to play two friendly matches against Al-Sahil SC and Al-Qanah as part of their preparations to face Ittihad.

Two friendly matches have been scheduled, with Wadi Degla set to play against Al-Sahil on Wednesday and Al-Qanah on Thursday, following their recent victory over Smouha in a friendly last Wednesday.

The coaching staff of Wadi Degla aims to utilize the break to prepare all players, rectify mistakes from previous matches, and enhance their physical and technical readiness before the league resumes.

So far, Wadi Degla has achieved only one victory since the start of the league, against Eastern Company, while they have drawn two matches with ZED and Al-Qanah, and suffered two defeats against Modern Sport and Al-Masry.

Currently, Wadi Degla sits in fourteenth place in the league standings with 5 points, collected over the first 5 rounds of the competition.

Wadi Degla is gearing up to face Al-Ittihad on October 8 in the first round of the Cairo Capital Cup, which also features matches between Zamalek, Wadi Degla, ZED, Talaa El-Gaish, and Al-Ittihad.
