The allocation of major venues is also becoming clearer for the rest of the tournament. The two semi-finals are expected to be held in the cities of Barcelona and Casablanca, ensuring a strong symbolic and geographical balance between Spain and Morocco, two of the co-hosting nations for the event.
Although the final decision still needs to be validated by international authorities, this distribution already outlines the contours of a memorable 2030 edition. Awarding the final to Madrid would mark the return of the biggest match on the planet to the Bernabéu, 48 years after Italy's victory in 1982.
