The Egyptian Football Association's Referees Committee, headed by Essam Abdel Fattah, has announced the selection of a trio of Egyptian referees to participate in the North Africa U-17 Championship, which will take place in Sousse, Tunisia, from September 22 to October 3.

The Egyptian referees for this tournament will be international referee Mahmoud Basyouni as the main referee, along with assistants Youssef El-Basaty and Samir Gamal.
The tournament is set to be held over three rounds, after Morocco withdrew from participation due to hosting the Africa Cup of Nations finals in April 2027.
