Zamalek announces unexpected details in Hossam Abdel-Maguid's contract with Bulgarian club Ludogorets.
Guarantees in Hossam Abdel-Meguid's Contract Give Zamalek Priority Upon His Return to Egypt
The media director of Zamalek SC stated in exclusive comments to Youm7 that Hossam Abdel-Meguid's contract includes a clause granting Zamalek priority if the player returns to Egypt in the future, ensuring the club retains its rights to the player if he decides to come back to the Egyptian league.
He also clarified that Zamalek made its decision regarding Hossam Abdel-Meguid's transfer to Ludogorets after the club managed to achieve a financial benefit from the player's departure, confirming that the management secured all its financial rights in the deal.
He added that the decision to allow Hossam Abdel-Meguid to leave came at an opportune time for Zamalek, especially since the player's contract with the club had only one season remaining, and he could have left afterward without any financial compensation. Therefore, the management preferred to take advantage of the deal and achieve financial returns from his transfer to the Bulgarian league.
