Zamalek expresses its sorrow over the death of Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of Al Wasl FC.
The board of directors of Zamalek SC, led by Hussein Labib, expressed its deep sorrow and pain at the passing of Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the president of the Emirati club Al Wasl.
The Zamalek board extended its heartfelt condolences to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, as well as to the family of the deceased and the management and fans of Al Wasl, praying that God grants the deceased His mercy and forgiveness, and that He bestows upon him a place in paradise, while also granting patience and solace to his family and loved ones.
Zamalek Returns to Training Tomorrow
Zamalek will resume training tomorrow, Tuesday, in preparation for the resumption of the season's competitions, whether in the Cairo Capital Cup or the Premier League, following the international break. The coaching staff aims to utilize this period to physically and technically prepare the players for the upcoming phase.
Zamalek recently secured a victory over Ghazl El Mahalla with a score of 1-0 in the match held at Ghazl El Mahalla Stadium as part of the fifth round of the Premier League.
This win raised Zamalek's points tally to 13, keeping them in contention for the top of the league table after 5 rounds.
