The first team players of Zamalek SC are awaiting the payment of part of their overdue financial dues, thanks to the financial boost the club's treasury received from the transfer of Brazilian player Juan Bezerra to Shabab Al Ahli Dubai, which totaled $6 million.
Zamalek players are looking forward to receiving a percentage of their overdue payments from last season, which ranges between 20% and 25%, in addition to some dues from the current season, especially after they confirmed to the club's management that the final deadline for their payments will be after the match against Ghazl El Mahalla in the league.
The transfer of Bezerra to Shabab Al Ahli has given Zamalek's management a strong boost to address the players' dues crisis, as the club will receive $3 million as an initial payment upon completing the player's transfer procedures, followed by $1 million in January, and another $1 million approximately 3 or 4 months after the second payment, in addition to $1 million in incentives linked to agreed terms between the two clubs.
