Algeria: Bentaleb absent, replaced by a promising young talent!
Brahim Hemdani's list saw Algeria record its first absence with Nabil Bentaleb's withdrawal.
The new coach will have to do without one of his most experienced and longest-serving players from the very first gathering, who has been with the Greens since 2014!
Indeed, Nabil Bentaleb, 31 years old, who was a starter during the last World Cup under Petkovic, has announced his withdrawal, as communicated by the Algerian Football Federation.
The Lille player will be replaced in the squad by young Adil Bourabaa, 21 years old, who has made a splash at Le Mans this season in French Ligue 1.
Originally expected to be called up to the senior team, Bourabaa has been selected with the U23s of Rafik Saifi, as was the case at the end of the previous season.
