A source within Zed Club revealed that the Egyptian club has outstanding financial dues related to the transfer of Essam Tharwat, the goalkeeper of Port Said's team, during his time at FC Misr, before the club's ownership was transferred to Zed.
The source told "Youm7" that these dues date back to the period when Essam Tharwat was a player at FC Misr, noting that the change in club ownership and name to Zed does not affect the financial rights associated with the transfer, which the club is seeking to recover from Al-Masry.
The source added that the Egyptian Football Association has issued a decision ensuring Zed Club's right to receive these dues after reviewing the case, given that Al-Masry has yet to pay the outstanding amounts.
The source indicated that a decision is expected to suspend Al-Masry's registration if the financial dues owed to Zed continue to go unpaid, emphasizing that the club insists on obtaining its rights according to the issued decisions in this regard.
Zed Club is awaiting the outcome of the procedures related to implementing the decision, especially since the issue of the dues is linked to the possibility of Al-Masry facing a penalty regarding registration if the debt is not settled.
