Germany: Excellent news for Bensebaini and Algeria

After several weeks away from the pitch, Ramy Bensebaini has returned to training with Borussia Dortmund (BVB). This comeback comes at a crucial time ahead of the next gathering of the Greens.
Ramy Bensebaini is finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. The Algerian international suffered a rib injury during the German Supercup against Bayern Munich on August 22, and he has officially resumed team training with Borussia Dortmund after several days of solo work. This is excellent news for the BVB, who recently triumphed against Villarreal in the Champions League.
This injury kept him from participating in several crucial matches with Dortmund. The Algerian defender notably missed the match against Hamburg in the Bundesliga, as well as the clash against HEBC in the DFB-Pokal and the game against Hoffenheim. He also could not play in the European duel against Villarreal due to a suspension. His return to team training thus represents a significant step after difficult weeks.
This news also comes at a good time for the Algeria national team. Brahim Hemdani and his assistant Anthar Yahia are preparing the roster for the upcoming September gathering, during which the Greens will play three matches: two qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, as well as a friendly match against Niger. If his progress continues, Bensebaini could be back in time for these important fixtures.
