Samir Salah, the agent of Ahmed Fattouh, revealed updates regarding the player's contract renewal with Zamalek.
Salah explained in an interview with Karim Ramzy on Mega FM: "Fattouh's absence from Zamalek's recent matches was due to injury, but he is ready to face AS Port in the return leg.
Zamalek has not addressed the renewal issue since John Edward's departure
He added: The last time we discussed this was on the day John Edward left, and since then no one has contacted us. I have learned that Zamalek is waiting to appoint a new sporting director to hold a meeting for Fattouh's contract renewal, along with some other players whose contracts are expiring.
No current negotiations with clubs for Fattouh
He continued: There are no negotiations with any club at the moment, and we are waiting for Fattouh's contract renewal with Zamalek. However, if we do not reach any agreement, we will consider some offers.
The player's agent's statements confirm what "Youm7" previously reported, regarding the Zamalek board's decision to refer the matter to the new sporting director.
