Ghanaian defender Joseph Attamah has signed with Turkish side Sariyerspor.

Former Ghana youth international Joseph Attamah has finalized a transfer to Turkish second-tier club Sariyerspor. The 32-year-old has agreed to a contract with the TFF First Lig team after departing from newly-promoted Corum FK, a club he assisted in achieving top-flight status. Attamah brings a wealth of experience from his time in Turkey, having played for several clubs including Istanbul Basaksehir and Kayserispor. His acquisition is regarded as a significant gain for Sariyerspor, who are aiming for promotion to the Super Lig next season. "We welcome Saryer, the seasoned defender who has donned the jerseys of Turkey's prominent clubs and the Ghana National Team throughout his career. We wish him a successful season in our navy-white colors. Welcome to our family, Joseph Attamah!" the club announced on social media. Attamah has made 317 appearances across the top two tiers of Turkish football and has represented Ghana at the senior level seven times. "Hello Sariyer fans, I am thrilled to join the club. A big thank you to the club president and the fans as well. I know this season will be challenging, but together with my teammates and the coaching staff, we will strive to position the team where it belongs. I believe that by the end of the season, we will be champions," said the Ghanaian. The former Ghana U20 player has already integrated with his new teammates as pre-season preparations have commenced for the upcoming campaign.
