Ghanaian striker Salam Kojo Mawuena has inked a new contract with Maltese second-tier club Swieqi United. The 21-year-old has extended his tenure with the team after a standout season last year. Mawuena made a significant impression after joining from St Lucia FC late in the previous year, earning the Player of the Month accolade in October 2025. "Back for more.
