This particular attention from Hemdani is not really surprising. The Algerian coach is already aware of Kohili's qualities from having worked with him during the Mediterranean Games in Taranto 2026. On that occasion, the player established himself as one of the major revelations of the tournament and greatly contributed to the success of the Algerian U21 team.

Kohili notably finished the tournament with five goals and one assist in just four matches. His standout moment will undoubtedly be the final against Tunisia, where he scored a brace that helped the young Greens secure the gold medal. This performance also earned him the title of top scorer of the tournament.

The player, trained at the Paradou Academy, also demonstrated real efficiency in his attempts, ranking first among players with the most shots on target with nine shots in four matches.

Kohili joined MC Alger this summer with the ambition to establish himself at the highest level. His performances and offensive potential could now open the doors to the senior national team.
