Medeama secures Eleven Wonders midfielder Emmanuel Boateng on a long-term contract.

Ghana Premier League titleholders Medeama SC have reportedly finalized the acquisition of midfielder Emmanuel Boateng. The Eleven Wonders standout has signed a three-year contract with the Tarkwa-based team in preparation for the 2026/27 season. Boateng is viewed as the successor to the outgoing Salim Adams, who is set to move to Sudan to finalize a deal with Al Hilal. The highly regarded midfielder joins Etse Dogli and Dominic Amponsah as new signings as Medeama strengthens its roster for the forthcoming season. Additionally, Monged El Neel from Sudan is also set to join the Ghanaian club. On another note, Derrick Fordjour has departed from the Mauve and Yellow to sign with Asante Kotoko. The Premier League champions are set to represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League next season. Furthermore, coach Ibrahim Tanko is anticipated to begin training camp in the upcoming days. The 2026/27 Ghana Premier League campaign is slated to kick off in September.
