Pezzera apologizes to Zamalek fans: I made the decision to leave in accordance with the club's policies.

Brazilian player Juan Bezerra, a member of the first team at Zamalek SC, issued an official statement via his Instagram page, detailing his desire to leave the club.

Bezerra's Statement to the Fans

The statement reads as follows:

"I had a wonderful season with Zamalek SC, and I was one of the players who contributed to winning the league title.

At this moment, I would like to apologize to Zamalek SC, its board of directors, my teammates, the entire coaching staff, and the Zamalek fans. I hope you accept my apology, and I am fully prepared to accept any actions or penalties the club may impose on me.

During this sensitive time in my life, I cannot ignore the love that Zamalek fans have shown me and the chants of my name in the stands. This support greatly impacted my ability to perform at my best throughout last season, alongside my teammates.

I want to clarify that my relationship with all team members is excellent. I am also grateful to the club and its management for their desire to keep me at Zamalek, and for the efforts they made to ensure my continued presence in the team."

I Chose to Leave on the Club's Terms

However, I chose to leave because I see a significant opportunity ahead of me that may not come again, which represents a big dream for me and my family. For this reason, I insisted on my desire to transfer at this stage of my career, after giving everything I could to Zamalek during last season, as the club's fans witnessed, with all my respect and appreciation for the club and its supporters.

Today, as a player for Zamalek, and with all the respect and love for everyone at this club, I hope my wish to move to a new club can be realized, according to the terms set by the club.

This does not mean that I will ever forget the role that Zamalek fans played in my career.

I hope to leave Zamalek SC while maintaining my good relationships with everyone at the club, as I have received nothing but appreciation, respect, and high professionalism from them.

Zamalek SC and its fans will remain a bright and everlasting chapter in my football journey.

I apologize once again to everyone, and I will always hold respect for Zamalek SC and its fans, who will hold a special place in my heart.

With the highest expressions of respect and appreciation,
Juan Bezerra."
