Raja Club Athletic Signs Younes Bakiz
Raja Club Athletic has successfully completed the signing of Moroccan player Younes Bakiz, making him the latest addition to the team during the current summer transfer window. The green club reached an agreement with Danish side Silkeborg to secure his services.
The deal was finalized after active negotiations by Raja officials, who showed a strong desire to sign Bakiz due to his skills and potential to enhance the attacking line. Ultimately, it was agreed that he would join the green fortress on loan.
The Moroccan player underwent necessary medical examinations on Sunday before signing the contract, successfully passing them, which makes the transfer complete from both sporting and medical perspectives.
According to the agreement between the two parties, Younes Bakiz will join Raja for one season on loan, with the option for the green club to purchase his contract outright at the end of the loan period. This arrangement was chosen by Raja's management to benefit from the player, given the high financial value of his contract and his ongoing ties to the Danish club.
Bakiz is expected to start training with Raja from today, Monday, where he will participate in his first training sessions with the team.
Younes Bakiz is 27 years old and plays as an attacking midfielder. The player is also known for his ability to play in several positions in the forward line, providing the coaching staff with additional options for building attacks and transitioning offensively.
This tactical flexibility was one of the factors that prompted Raja officials to sign him, especially since the team was looking for a player capable of linking the midfield and attack, in addition to providing additional solutions in the final third of the pitch.
Before joining Raja, Bakiz played in the Danish league with Silkeborg, where he participated in 29 matches across all competitions last season, scoring two goals and providing four assists.
Raja's management hopes that the player's experience in European leagues will help him adapt quickly to the atmosphere of the national league and provide the necessary contributions during the upcoming season.
