Spain: Zidane suffers his first goals with Leganés (video)

After keeping three clean sheets, Algerian goalkeeper Luca Zidane finally conceded his first goals with his new club, Leganes, in the Spanish Segunda División.

In an away match against Tenerife, who are third in Liga 2, the Madrid suburb team suffered a first goal from a penalty, following a foul in the box confirmed by the referee after consulting VAR.

The goal was scored powerfully by Enric Gallego in the 25th minute, and Luca Zidane had to kneel as the shot zipped past his right side, leaving him no chance to dive.

The same Enric Gallego then managed to score a second goal, for which the Algerian goalkeeper was largely responsible, but fortunately the goal was disallowed due to an offside (33rd).

From a cross by Moreno, Zidane found himself poorly positioned, far from his line, he retreated to try to react but the opposing striker managed to score easily with a header. This goal recalls the one conceded against Nigeria to Victor Osimhen, during the quarter-finals of the 2026 Africa Cup of Nations in Marrakech last January.

Ultimately, Tenerife managed to score the second goal, again by Gallego in the 72nd minute. Once again the defense left Zidane exposed, as he tried to rush out like a handball goalkeeper, without success. Final score 2-0.
