The Zamalek coaching staff, led by Moataz Gamal, is reviewing goalkeeper options before deciding who will start the match, but it seems that Yassine Bounou is the frontrunner to take on the responsibility of guarding the white team's goal in the second leg, according to indications from within the coaching staff.

Moataz Gamal is currently relying on a rotation strategy for goalkeepers, aiming to ensure that all goalkeepers are ready and have the opportunity to play regularly, especially with the upcoming density of local and African matches.
In the first leg against AS Port, Mohamed Sobhi played as Zamalek's goalkeeper, while Mohamed El-Mahdi Suleiman took on the responsibility of protecting the goal in the last match against Abu Qir Fertilizers in the Egyptian league, making it now Yassine Bounou's turn in the calculations for the second leg.
The coaching staff believes that continuing the rotation policy allows Zamalek's three goalkeepers to maintain their technical and physical levels, in addition to preparing them for the various challenges that await the team throughout the season.
Zamalek had secured a victory over AS Port in the first leg with a score of 2-1 in the CAF Champions League.
