The first team of ZED Club, led by coach Mohamed Shawky, will host Djibouti's AS Telecom at 8 PM today, Saturday, in the second leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup, which will take place at Al Salam Stadium.

ZED achieved a significant victory over AS Djibouti with a score of 4-0 in the first leg match held between the two teams last Sunday evening at Cairo Stadium, as part of the first leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup for the new 2026-2027 season.

ZED is making its first appearance in African competitions after securing a spot in the Confederation Cup by reaching the final of the Egypt Cup last season, where they lost to Pyramids.
