U21 "Greens" Handball Team Secures Big Win Against Ivory Coast
The national U21 handball team achieved a significant victory today, Wednesday, against the Ivory Coast, finishing the match with a score of 37-20 in the placement match for positions 9 to 12 at the African Championship held in Abidjan.
The first half was fiercely contested, ending in favor of the U21 "Greens" with a score of 11-8.
In the second half, they clearly asserted their dominance, extending the lead to a full 17 goals, and concluded the match with a resounding victory of 37-20.
With this win, the national team has provisionally secured the 10th position in the 33rd edition of the African Championship, which continues in Ivory Coast from September 5 to 12.
The U21 "Greens" will also play another placement match for the 9th position this coming Friday, where they await the winner of the match between the Cameroon and Kenya teams scheduled for later today.
