Delay in the Start of the Second Amateur League

The National Amateur Football League has postponed the first round of the Second Amateur League for the 2026-2027 season to next week, with matches now scheduled for September 18 and 19, after they were originally set to take place this week.

This decision came after a meeting of the Executive Office of the National Amateur Football League, held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Ahmed Kherchi, the league president.

The meeting also discussed the latest preparations and organizational and technical arrangements related to the league's kickoff, as well as reviewing the schedule for the first half of the season.

In related news, the official announcement for the start of the Second League will take place at the November 1, 1954 Stadium in Batna, during the match between Chabab Batna and Chabab Izzazga.
