The draw for the second edition of the Gulf Cup for U-17 national teams, hosted in Qatar from October 16 to November 4, 2026, has placed Egypt's 2009-born team in a strong Group B alongside Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kuwait, and Yemen.
This edition is the largest in the tournament's history, featuring 10 teams, following the inclusion of new elements that add an exciting competitive edge at various levels.
