Khaled Saleh praised the significant effort made by the coaching staff led by the experienced Tarek Mahrous, emphasizing that the staff's expertise and skill in handling matches and various circumstances played a crucial role in the team's success.
He also extended special greetings to the players, commending their performance and fighting spirit throughout the tournament. He affirmed that the team consists of a distinguished group of players with high technical and physical abilities, in addition to possessing strong personalities, teamwork, and the capacity to shoulder responsibility in the toughest moments.
Khaled Saleh said: "From the first day the delegation arrived in Côte d'Ivoire, everyone was united with a common goal that brought together the players, coaching staff, and all individuals in the delegation, which was to return to Egypt with the Africa Cup."
He added that the focus and team spirit that prevailed throughout the tournament were among the key reasons for their success, noting that every individual in the delegation performed their role with the utmost commitment, which was evident in the team's performance on the court and their spirit in critical moments.
The head of the youth national team delegation thanked the board of the Handball Federation, led by Khaled Fathi, confirming that the federation was keen from the beginning to provide all the necessary resources and suitable atmosphere for the team, sparing no effort in supporting the team and meeting its needs, which helped the coaching staff and players to focus entirely on their mission and achieve their goal.
