A source from Zamalek has revealed the truth about the existence of a sell-on clause in the contract of Brazilian player Juan Bezera, a member of the club's first football team, with Ukrainian club Oleksandriya, which stipulates that the latter would receive a percentage of the player's future sale value.
The source clarified to Youm7 that Juan Bezera's contract with Zamalek does not contain any clause granting Oleksandriya a percentage of the player's resale value, and thus the Ukrainian club will not receive any share from the transfer of the player to Shabab Al Ahli Dubai if it goes through.
Zamalek agrees to sell Juan Bezera
Zamalek has agreed with Shabab Al Ahli Dubai on the financial details regarding Juan Bezera's transfer to the Emirati club during the current transfer window, with the base value of the deal set at 5 million dollars, which Zamalek will receive, divided into 3 million dollars upon completion of the deal, 1 million dollars in January, and another million dollars after about 3 or 4 months.
The deal also includes an additional 1 million dollars in incentives based on the agreement between the two clubs, bringing the total value of the deal to 6 million dollars if all incentive conditions are met.
Zamalek officials are holding a crucial meeting today, Sunday, with Juan Bezera to finalize his decision regarding leaving the White Castle and joining Shabab Al Ahli Dubai, after the player arrived in Cairo yesterday, Saturday, in accordance with the club's requirement for him to return to Cairo before discussing his future.
This meeting comes as Zamalek is close to finalizing the agreement with the Emirati club, especially with the transfer window in the UAE league closing at the end of September.
