Nigeria’s Flying Eagles have been placed in Group B alongside Ghana, Togo, and Burkina Faso for the WAFU B U-20 Championship, as reported by Completesports.com.
The grouping for this regional tournament, which acts as the qualifying event for the 2027 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, was conducted on Wednesday at the West African Football Union (WAFU) Zone B headquarters in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.
The Flying Eagles will face off against Ghana’s Black Satellites, reigniting their historic rivalry within the group.

Nigeria triumphed over the Black Satellites with a score of 2-1 in the final of the previous edition of this competition.
The Flying Eagles have claimed victory in the last two iterations of this tournament.
