Norway's defender Kristoffer Ajer has revealed that the team will tackle their FIFA World Cup 2026 quarter-final matchup against England with a Brentford mindset, characterized by humility, teamwork, and a focus on taking each game step by step.
Although they are viewed as underdogs against the tournament frontrunners, the Norwegian squad is brimming with confidence following their notable 2-1 win over Brazil in the round of 16.

Ajer mentioned that while Norway features the world-class offensive skills of Erling Haaland, their achievements are deeply rooted in a unified team effort.

“The entire nation has been incredibly enthusiastic about it, and I’ve dedicated months to preparation. The way we have performed in every match has been remarkable.
