The first handball team of Zamalek Club is preparing for a friendly match against Kuwait SC today, Saturday, at 6 PM, at Cairo Stadium, as part of their preparations for the upcoming 2026-2027 sports season.
This match concludes the team's closed training camp that started last Monday, during which the team played several strong friendlies against Tala'ea El Gaish, the Bahrain national team, and Kuwait SC, as part of their preparation program for the new season and the World Club Championship.
Zamalek faces Los Angeles on September 24 in the World Club Championship
Zamalek will begin their first match in the qualifying round on September 24 against American side Los Angeles in the World Club Championship "Super Globe".
The coaching staff of the team includes: Mohamed Alaa "Luka" as the sports director, Bassem El Sabki as the head coach, Omar El Wakil Bakar as the general coach, Mohamed Serag El Din as the goalkeeper coach, Ahmed Khashaba as the first team manager, Ahmed Salah as the fitness coach, Ashraf Ezz as the head of the medical staff, Yassine Rady as the rehabilitation specialist, and Sherif Hussein as the physiotherapist.
