Belgian Club Set to Pursue Durosinmi

Belgian team Genk has shown interest in Pisa SC forward Rafiu Durosinmi, according to reports from Completesports.com.

The Nigerian national transitioned to Pisa from Czech First Division side Viktoria Plzen for approximately €11 million in January.

Durosinmi Struggles in Italy

Durosinmi was unable to match the scoring prowess he displayed at Viktoria Plzen during his brief six-month tenure in Italy.

The 23-year-old netted only one goal in 12 competitive fixtures for the Black and Blues.

After Pisa's drop to Serie B, the striker is keen to exit the club in this transfer window.

Genk Willing to Invest

As reported by Belgian news source Het Nieuwsblad, Genk is ready to allocate €10 million to acquire the forward.

This transfer would establish Durosinmi as the most expensive acquisition in the club's history.

Super Eagles players Paul Onuachu and Tolu Arokodare have both previously played for the Smurfs.

Onuachu and Arokodare both secured moves to the Premier League after showcasing their skills in the Belgian Pro League.

If the transfer goes through, Durosinmi will be Genk's second signing of the summer, following Jeppe Erenbjerg.
