Brazilian club Santos has agreed to the inclusion of Jihad Ayman, a striker from their U16 team, in the Egypt U13 national team, coached by Abdelsttar Sabri, who is preparing for the North Africa Championship qualifying for the 2027 Africa U17 Cup of Nations.
Dutch club PSV Eindhoven has also given its approval for Reda Babker, a player from their U17 team who plays as a midfielder and left-back, to join the Egypt U13 national team.
The addition of these players is part of the efforts of the scouting committee established by Shawky Gharib, the technical director of the Egyptian Football Association, as part of a plan to attract Egyptian talents with dual nationality to represent the Egyptian national teams at various age levels.
