Abdeli Faces Risk of Missing Niger Friendly!

National team midfielder, Haimad Abdeli, missed the training session held by the national squad last Friday in preparation for the friendly match against Niger, scheduled to conclude the current international break.

The Olympique Marseille star suffered an injury to his left ankle during the match against Burundi in the qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, which took place last Tuesday.

Abdeli had to leave the pitch in the final moments of the first half and was seen after the match using crutches. However, national coach Ibrahim Hamdani did not decide to exclude him from the camp, unlike other injured players, Adam Zergane and Anis Hajj Moussa.

The national team returned to training yesterday after a day of rest, with the session held at the National Technical Center in Sidi Moussa, in preparation for the friendly match against Niger on Tuesday.

All available players participated in the session, except for Haimad Abdeli, who only worked in the gym, according to the official website of the FAF. This raises questions about his availability for the match against Niger, which will take place at the "Hussein Ait Ahmed" Stadium in Tizi Ouzou.
