After Injury, Yassine Titraoui Sends Strong Message
Algerian international player Yassine Titraoui has returned to competitive action with RC Lens after a month-long absence due to a knee injury.
This step is significant following his time away from the pitch, which prevented him from joining the national team during the current international break.
Upon returning to training, the coaching staff at RC Lens decided to give him a chance to participate in the match against Standard Liège last Friday, where Titraoui played in the second half for about 35 to 40 minutes in his first appearance since the injury.
Yannick Cahuzac, a member of the coaching staff at RC Lens, expressed his satisfaction with the return of the Algerian player, noting that the match was an opportunity to reintegrate several players who had been sidelined due to injuries.
Cahuzac said: “The match also allowed us to bring back players who have been out for a long time, like Saud Abdulhamid who played for 30 minutes, and Yassine Titraoui who participated for 35 to 40 minutes.”
Titraoui's return comes at a crucial time, as he will have a full week to complete his preparations and regain his competitive rhythm before facing Olympique Lyon on Friday, October 9, in the sixth round of Ligue 1 at the Bollaert-Delelis Stadium in Lens.
He is expected to gradually reclaim his place in the plans of RC Lens, as well as the national team in the upcoming challenges.
