Algerian Olympic champion, Kaliya Nmour, achieved an impressive score of 15.050 points with a difficulty level of 6.7 on the balance beam during her participation in the Swiss Artistic Gymnastics Championship today, Saturday.
Nmour participated in this competition as a guest and outside the official ranking, in a competitive performance that serves as her final preparations before competing in the World Artistic Gymnastics Championship, which will be held in Rotterdam, Netherlands, from October 17 to 25.
The Algerian champion's participation in Switzerland is seen as a final test before the global challenge, providing her with an opportunity to evaluate her routine and assess her readiness before heading to Rotterdam.
Nmour enters the World Championship with high spirits after a season filled with achievements, having won several titles and medals in various international competitions.
She stood out in 2026 during the World Cup for apparatus, and made a strong impact at the Mediterranean Games in Taranto, where she secured three gold medals in the all-around, uneven bars, and balance beam, along with a bronze medal in the team event.
The Algerian champion aims to continue her success on the global stage in Rotterdam, having made history in Algerian and Arab gymnastics after winning gold on the uneven bars and silver on the balance beam at the recent World Championship in Jakarta.
