Hani Abou Rida, the president of the Egyptian Football Association, stated that the National Teams Center has been a dream and a challenge for him, and he has indeed achieved this dream by preparing this major facility to host all national teams in the best possible way.

Abou Rida also expressed his appreciation for President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's reception of the national team delegation and the Football Association following the achievement of the 2026 World Cup, which has significantly renewed the determination to achieve more successes and accomplishments for Egyptian football.
Abou Rida supports national staff taking charge of the teams
Abou Rida clarified that he usually prefers players from the national teams to take on the technical roles of the teams, especially those who have achieved notable successes for Egyptian football, so they can serve as role models for aspiring young players.
Abou Rida thanked all members of the Football Association's board and the secretary-general for their sincere cooperation with him and the efforts made on all the files the board has been working on since he took office.
Abou Rida sends a message to youth and junior players
Abou Rida sent a message to the players in the youth and junior teams, saying: "Take care of yourselves, make the most of this opportunity, and give your all for your country's national team because Egypt deserves the best from all of us. We must also preserve your home, the National Teams Center, as it is a source of pride for Egypt, and we have made significant efforts to prepare and inaugurate it in the best way possible. We are currently working on establishing other headquarters for the national teams."
He continued, saying: "Our goal is for each team to produce 4 or 5 outstanding players to support the first team, and we must free ourselves from pressure and let the players enjoy the game of football, while coaches should instill confidence in their players to achieve the desired results."
He concluded his remarks by noting that football has become an important industry, which makes the Football Association keen on the success of the teams, as success enhances the teams' value from a marketing perspective. He praised the collaboration with the United Sports Company, headed by Mohamed Yahya Youssef, wishing him a speedy recovery and a quick return to continue the cooperation and joint work.
