Verts: Kaïl Boudache continues his rise in Lyon

Kaïl Boudache continues to establish himself at Olympique Lyonnais. The 20-year-old forward could take his game to the next level tonight on the European stage.
Kaïl Boudache is set to experience a significant debut tonight with Olympique Lyonnais. According to L’Équipe, the young winger is expected to start the Europa League match against Anderlecht in Brussels. This is a new show of confidence for a player who has quickly found his place in the Lyon squad since arriving this summer.
Since the start of the season, Boudache has already made seven appearances in all competitions with OL. His speed, ability to penetrate defenses, and talent for creating opportunities have quickly impressed, although the player admits he still needs to improve his decision-making.
This potential starting position in Europe could therefore provide him with the opportunity to reach a new milestone. Arriving for free from Nice last June and tied to the club until 2031, Boudache had already shown several promising aspects in Ligue 1 before joining Lyon.
The young forward has also recently expressed his international ambitions: “My dream is to play in the World Cup with Algeria.” Even when asked about a potential call-up from Zinedine Zidane for France, he responded without hesitation: “It will always be Algeria; it’s my country.”
